PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a vinyl chloride resin composition, having excellent heat stability during molding and giving a molded product with a little color.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing vinyl chloride resin composition includes a deliquoring step for deliquoring a part of a solvent contained in a vinyl chloride resin dispersion obtained during a polymerization process of vinyl chloride, and a drying step after the deliquoring step. Further, between the deliquoring step and the drying step, an addition step for adding an aqueous polyvinyl alcohol solution containing 1-25 mass% of polyvinyl alcohol with a saponification degree of 75-99.9 mol% and a viscosity average polymerization of 100-450 to 100 pts.mass of a polyvinyl base resin so that the amount of the polyvinyl alcohol added becomes 0.01-5 pts.mass. |
