PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a status that the detection of steering torque becomes impossible even if one of detection coils of a resolver is broken. SOLUTION: A raising current setting section 310 sets a raising basic current Iqupo with reference to a raising current map. The raising bas current Iqupo is set to a setting value Iqo within the range of a motor electrical angleθme corresponding to a rotational angle calculation disabled region in which a rotational angle cannot be calculated by a second resolver and is set to zero in the other region. The raising current setting section 310 calculates a raising target current Iqup* by multiplying the raising basic current Iqupo by a gain K to be set according to a motor rotational speed ¾ωm¾ and adds the raising target current Iqup* to a q-axis command current Iq*.
