<p>The present invention relates to the field of vehicle-mounted telephones. Disclosed are a system and method for automatic dialing by eye recognition for a vehicle-mounted terminal. The method comprises: a mapping relationship between eye movement information and a communication number is predetermined; when in use, the system is activated; an image capturing module collects eye movement information of the eyes of a driver; a central processing module determines whether or not the eye movement information is identical to predetermined eye movement information, if yes, then a communication number stored in a memory module and corresponding to the eye movement information is automatically scheduled on the basis of the eye movement information after delaying for a predetermined time, while an automatic dialing control instruction is transmitted to a call module, and if not, the previous step is automatically returned to after delaying for the predetermined time; and, the call module receives the control instruction and executes an automatic dialing. The beneficial effect of implementing the present invention is such that the driver is allowed to engage in convenient and expedited autonomous calling or information acquisition without having to move a hand off the steering wheel while driving, thus ensuring traffic safety.</p> |
