<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an adjusting value suppressing an effect of a speed fluctuation during relative movement of a medium and a head. <P>SOLUTION: A method is provided for calculating an adjustment value of a fluid injection apparatus in which a plurality of heads each having nozzle arrays having nozzles injecting a fluid to a medium, and arranged in a predetermined direction, are arranged in different positions in a predetermined direction and shiftedly in the direction intersecting with the predetermined direction. The method of calculating the adjustment value has: forming a pattern by making at least two heads inject a fluid at the same time out of the plurality of heads, while the relative positions of the plurality of heads to the medium are being moved in the intersecting direction; and calculating the adjustment value to adjust a fluid injection timing of each head, based on a position in an intersecting direction of each dot formed on the pattern by the heads, so as to align each dot forming position in the intersecting direction of the heads. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
