PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive sheet-type RFID tag which can be selectively used in two kinds of communicable areas.SOLUTION: A sheet-type RFID tag includes an antenna formed along a sheet body, and an IC chip which performs radio communication via the antenna. The sheet body 2 includes a body piece with an IC chip 4, and a separation piece 6 separable from the body piece 5. The IC chip 4 is compatible only with a UHF band. The antenna 3 is formed across the body piece 5 and the separation piece 6. In a first state where the separation piece 6 is not separated from the body piece 5, the antenna has a shape adapted to electromagnetic induction communication in the UHF band. In a second state where the separation piece is separated from the body piece, a part of the antenna 3 is separated together with the separation piece 6, so that the antenna has a shape adapted to electromagnetic induction communication in the UHF band. |
