METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING GRAPHENE USING COPPER VAPOR AND DEVICE COMPRISING GRAPHENE SYNTHESIZED THEREBY

The present invention provides a graphene synthesizing method using copper vapor. In detail, the method comprises the following steps: preparing a substrate; disposing Cu foil above the substrate; forming Cu vapor from the Cu foil; making the precursor gas of graphene touch the substrate; and facilitating the graphene synthesis reaction of the precursor gas with use of copper vapor. Since an additional transfer process is not necessary in the graphene synthesizing method, it is a method of synthesizing high-quality single layer graphene (SLG) with little damage and contamination in a simple process, thereby leading to cost reduction. In addition, as the graphene synthesized method can be applied to various dielectric substrates, the scope of use of devices manufactured by the method can be expanded accordingly.
