BURNER AND BURNER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner and a burner control method capable of improving the ignition performance of an air-fuel mixture.SOLUTION: A burner 20 comprises: a combustion chamber 77 firing an air-fuel mixture containing fuel; a glow plug 61 including an ignition portion 62 disposed in the combustion chamber 77; a storage portion 66 disposed around the ignition portion 62 and capable of retaining the fuel so as to be able to vaporize the fuel; a first supply portion supplying the fuel to the combustion chamber 77 via an injection portion; and a second supply portion supplying the fuel to the storage portion 66 from outside of the combustion chamber 77. A control unit of the burner 20 controls the ignition portion 62 of the glow plug 61 to be heated and the second supply portion to supply the fuel to the storage portion 66 before the first supply portion supplies the fuel to the combustion chamber 77.
