PURPOSE:To provide a coating fluid composition which gives a coating film uniform in level even in a process wherein it is applied with, e.g. a roll coater or a bar coater and allowed to stand still to thereby dry from a free surface and a method of forming a coating film wherein the composition is used. CONSTITUTION:A coating fluid composition in which a part of the solvent component comprises a combination of at least two solvents selected from among propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate, propylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate, methyl 3-methoxypropionate and ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate, with these solvents accounting for 60-100wt.% of the solvent component and satisfying the inequality (propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate)+(propylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate)>(methyl 3-methoxypropionate)+(ethyl 3- ethoxypropionate), and which has a viscosity at 30 deg.C of 5-20cP. |
