PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler chemical infusion control device and method capable of stably keeping a chemical concentration in boiler water supply within a target range.SOLUTION: A chemical infusion control device comprises: a flow meter 10 for measuring water flow rate; a chemical feed pump 7 for infusing chemical liquid to either a water supply line or a water supply tank; a sensor 9 for measuring a chemical liquid amount within a chemical tank 6; and a controller 12 for controlling a discharged amount of the chemical feed pump 7 in proportion to a result of measurement by the flow meter 10. The controller 12 updates a target chemical feed amount for every first prescribed period, calculates a chemical usage amount for every first prescribed period in reference to the water supply flow rate per the first prescribed period and the target chemical feed amount, takes a chemical reduction amount within the chemical tank during a second prescribed period in reference to the sensor 9, calculates the chemical usage amount corresponding to a plurality of first predetermined periods within the second prescribed period to get an assumed reduction amount of chemical, compares the chemical reduction amount within the chemical tank with the assumed reduction amount of chemical and controls the chemical feed pump 7 on the basis of the result of comparison. |
