Provided are a method and a system for managing greenhouse gas emissions. The method for managing greenhouse gas emissions comprises the following steps: receiving mobile emission source information from a tag; matching the mobile emission source information with operation record information to record the same; and calculating greenhouse gas emissions by using the mobile emission source information and the operation record information. According to the method for managing greenhouse gas emissions of the present invention, information of mobile emission sources can be easily inputted by using a tag, and greenhouse gas emissions can be calculated in detail based on the same.
