<p>The device has prefabricated insulating slabs (24) formed on front and back sides of a building (B), and rails (40) fixed to the front side of the building. The insulating slabs are connected with the rails, and comprise connection units (50) that are connected with the rails in a slidably movable manner such that weight of each slab is transmitted to a lower panel and successively to ground or an intermediate carrying structure (20) resting on the ground. The rails are designed with a C-shaped cross-section, and the slabs comprise metal reinforcements (36). An independent claim is also included for a method for insulating a building from outside.</p> |
