<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker which allows drawing or the like of a turntable because a turntable drive part is evacuated from the turntable and put in a non-rotating state while an opening end is opened by a door. <P>SOLUTION: The cooker includes a storage interior 17 which is formed inside a box-like cooker body 14 and opens toward the front for heating and cooking food, a door 19 for opening and closing an opening end 17a of the storage interior 17, a turntable 70 which rotates in the vicinity of the bottom center of the storage interior 17, and a turntable drive part 40 disposed inside the cooker body 14 to be more outside than the bottom face of the storage interior 17 for rotating the turntable 70. While the opening end 17a is opened by the door 19, the turntable drive part 40 is evacuated from the turntable 70 and put in the non-rotating state.
