Provided is a piezoelectric material which has a good piezoelectric constant and mechanical quality factor in the range of device driving temperatures (-30°C to 50°C), and does not contain lead. The piezoelectric material includes a main component which contains perovskite metal oxide represented by chemical formula (1), and a first subcomponent containing Mn, wherein the Mn content is 0.002 to 0.015 mol with respect to 1 mol of the metal oxide.
