The present invention relates to an active apparatus for providing event information and a method for providing event information using the same. More specifically, the method comprises the following steps: driving a web crawler; searching for event information related to a membership on a webpage crawled through the web crawler; extracting event information related to the membership included in a user terminal among the searched event information; and providing the extracted event information to the user terminal.
