PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil manufacturing apparatus that can immediately cut a wire at the winding start end or winding finish end of an obtained coil by a predetermined length.SOLUTION: A coil manufacturing apparatus 10 has a nozzle 31, a take-up jig 18 for winding a wire 12 let out from the nozzle 31, a clamp device 53 for clamping the end portion of the wire 12, a flat-plate type wire holding plate 71 having first and second slits which are formed in parallel in the axial direction of the take-up jig 18 and in which the wire 12 secured around the periphery of the take-up jig 18 is insertable, a cutter tooth plate 73 which is provided to be superimposed on the wire holding plate 71 and can cut the wire 12 inserted in the first and second slits, a wire storage moving mechanism 54 for moving the clamp device 53 in the directions of three axes to insert the wire 12 extending from the take-up jig 18 to the clamp device 53 into one of the first and second slits, and a nozzle moving mechanism 33 for moving the nozzle 31 in the directions of three axes to insert the wire extending from the take-up jig to the nozzle into the other slit of the first and second slits. |
