PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system and a control method which is based on synchronization with an AC power period.SOLUTION: The control system based on the synchronization with the AC power period includes a control device and a controlled device. The control device and the controlled device are a light source(s) and/or a remote control unit(s). In the controlled device, an optical sensor receives control light emitted from a light-emitting device of the control device, and thereby the control device controls the controlled device. The control device and the controlled device transmit data through radio communication, on the basis of the synchronization with the AC power period. In the controlling light, data is transmitted using an optical communication frame. The light source and the remote control unit respectively include light source identification data and remote identification data. Data transmission modes between the controlled device and the control device include a single body to single body mode, a single body to multiple body mode, a multiple body to single body mode and a multiple body to multiple body mode. |
