PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion exhaust gas treatment device and treatment method capable of treating combustion exhaust gas containing harmful substances such as mercury, NOx, dioxins and the like at low cost.SOLUTION: A combustion exhaust gas treatment device 1 includes: an electric dust collector 2 which collects dust in combustion exhaust gas G1; a first catalyst device 4 which decomposes and removes NOx or/and dioxins in exhaust gas G2 passing through the electric dust collector; a second catalyst device 6 which decomposes and removes dioxins remaining in exhaust gas passing through the first catalyst device and oxidizes metal mercury; a mercury adsorbent addition device 7 which adds a mercury adsorbent A to exhaust gas G3 passing through the second catalyst device; and a dry dust collector 8 which collects dust D in exhaust gas after adding the mercury adsorbent. Therein, a flushing device 11 for flushing dust exhausted from the dry dust collector, a solid-liquid separation device 12 which performs solid-liquid separation of slurry S discharged from the flushing device and a mercury removal device 13 which removes mercury in filtrate L separated by the solid-liquid separation device can be provided. |
