<p>A rack device (1) for an automated warehouse is provided with a first support column (21a), a second support column (21b), and a viscous elastic body (153). The first support column (21a) is a member extending in the vertical direction at a position close to a path. The second support column (21b) is a member extending in the vertical direction at a position farther from the path than the first support column (21a). A first plate member (51a) is affixed to the first support column (21a). In this state, the first plate member (51a) extends toward the second support column (21b). A second plate member (52a) is affixed to the second support column (21b). In this state, the second plate member (52a) extends toward the first support column (21a). Between the first support column (21a) and the second support column (21b), at least a part of the second plate member (52a) faces at least a part of the first plate member (51a).
