The present invention relates to an electrolyte membrane produced from an ion-conducting polymer comprising phenyl pendant substituted with two or more sulfonated aromatic groups. The electrolyte membrane produced from an ion-conducting polymer comprising phenyl pendant substituted with two or more sulfonated aromatic groups according to the present invention, can be used in a membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel battery due to providing superb ion conductivity, mechanical strength, and chemical stability.
