The reducing agent and the stabilising agent used are sodium dodecyl sulphate or a polymer product selected from: polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol, starch. The stabiliser-reducing agent is taken in weight excess. The silver ion source used is silver nitrate.
