PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data output regulating device for molding a three-dimensional article, which can accurately regulate an output without using human decision even for a polygon model representing an article composed of a plurality of components.SOLUTION: The data output regulating device includes: a regulation model database 50 where a regulation model is registered; polygon reduction means 10 for reducing the number of polygons down to a predetermined number or smaller of polygons of a target model; polygon mapping means 15 for calculating a characteristic parameter of each polygon of the target model, comparing the obtained parameter to a characteristic parameter of each polygon of the regulation model, mapping the polygons of the target model to the polygons of the regulation model, and determining whether or not the target model matches the regulation model on the basis of a difference in the characteristic parameters of the mapped polygons; polygon normalization means 20 for creating a normalized target model; and polygon model verification means 30 for verifying the normalized target model to the regulation model registered in the regulation model database 50. |
