A heat exchange apparatus and a water heater using the heat exchange apparatus, suitable for heat exchange between a first fluid and a second fluid. The heat exchange apparatus comprises a first pipe body and a second pipe body. The first pipe body is provided with a first inlet and a first outlet to allow the first fluid to flow into and flow out of the first pipe body, and the second pipe body is provided with a second inlet and a second outlet to allow the second fluid to flow into and flow out of the second pipe body. The first pipe body is in contact with the second pipe body and is arranged abreast with the second pipe body, and the flowing direction of the first fluid in the first pipe body is opposite to the flowing direction of the second fluid in the second pipe body. The heat exchange apparatus has good heat exchange efficiency. |
