PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system that can suppress the difference in initial image quality in a plurality of process cartridges having initial different amounts of developers.SOLUTION: An image forming system includes a plurality of process cartridges selectively attached to an apparatus body A of an image forming apparatus 100. In the image forming system, each of the plurality of process cartridges includes a photoreceptor unit 60, a development unit 20, and a pressing member 46 that presses a development roller 32 toward an electrophotographic photoreceptor 62. By differentiating the method, according to the process cartridge, of mounting the pressing member 46 on each of the plurality of process cartridges depending on the initial amount of a developer stored in a developer storage part 28 or 29, the pressing force of the pressing member 46 of pressing the development roller 32 toward the electrophotographic photoreceptor 62 is made smaller as the initial amount of the developer is larger. |
