According to the present invention, a method for authenticating a medium based on biometrics is performed in a user mobile phone, which includes a biometric recognition unit for recognizing biometric information of a user and runs a program for performing predetermined authentication procedures based on biometric recognition. According to the method, after the first operation of the program, medium information including an eigenvalue, individually assigned to avoid redundancy, is stored in a storage medium on an appointed network, based on information registered by a user; a procedure for storing authentication information for authenticating a code value, which is dynamically generated from the user mobile phone and is transmitted through the program, in a storage medium appointed on the network is performed; medium information to be transmitted to an appointed server in cooperation with the procedure for authenticating the biometric information of the user recognized by the biometric recognition unit of the user mobile phone is verified; the code value to be transmitted to the server is generated; and the authenticated medium information and the generated code value is transmitted to the server through an appointed path. |
