<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead bolt type hook lock for sliding door capable of preventing a door frame, and further a dead bolt and a hook member from breaking when a sliding door is closed even while the dead bolt and hook member projects with the sliding door closed. <P>SOLUTION: The dead bolt type hook lock for sliding door includes a dead bolt 12, a hook member 13 coupled to the dead bolt 12, and a driving member 14 which moves the dead bolt 12 forward and backward. The driving member 14 has a driving arm 14c, engaging the dead bolt 12, at a tip part, and the dead bolt 12 has a first wall surface that the driving arm 14c abuts against and a second wall surface which is smoothly and continuously inclined on the first wall surface. When the dead bolt 12 is pressed in backward, an engagement tip face of the driving arm 14c is brought into contact with and also pressed against a first wall surface of the dead bolt 12 to slide on the first wall surface, then to move from the first wall surface to a second wall surface, and to slide on the second wall surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
