PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator of high quality capable of preventing generation of dew condensation on an end face of a door while preventing warpage of the door.SOLUTION: A frame reinforcement metal fitting 34 is disposed on an inner face of a door edge frame 24, and a prescribed heat insulating layer 37 is formed between the frame reinforcement metal fitting 34 and a leg portion 32 of a gasket 31 at an outer periphery of an inner frame 23. As the heat insulating layer 37 between the leg portion 32 of the gasket 31 and the frame reinforcement metal fitting 34 suppresses low temperature leakage from the gasket 31 to the frame reinforcement metal fitting 34, the dew condensation on a surface of the door edge frame due to low temperature of the frame reinforcement metal fitting can be prevented, and further as the frame reinforcement metal fitting is mounted in the door edge frame, warpage and deformation of the door can be prevented. |
