PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food material mixer having a drum cover coupled with a drum body through a hinge, which can be removed on an as needed basis.SOLUTION: A mixing drum is rotatably supported around a rotation shaft of the drum on a machine frame. The mixing drum includes a drum body having an upper opening and a drum cover to close the upper opening of the drum body. The drum cover includes a hinge shaft, and the drum body includes a shaft support part which supports the hinge shaft such that the drum cover is openable in the vertical direction around the hinge shaft. The shaft support part includes a shaft withdrawal part which withdraws the hinge shaft from the shaft support part toward the lower side, when the drum cover is rotated to a first cover withdrawal position at which the opening angle of the drum cover is larger than the opening angle for food material charging. The shaft support part includes a shaft removal part for withdrawal of the hinge shaft from the shaft support part, when the drum cover is rotated to a second cover withdrawal position at which the opening angle of the drum cover is smaller than the opening angle for food material charging, and slid in the axis direction of the hinge shaft. |
