PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify an area, corresponding to an area of a subject imaged in a training image, in a test image even when the subject is a three-dimensional object.SOLUTION: A subject area detection device includes: an input part which inputs a training image in which a subject is photographed, a test image to have an area of a photographed subject detected, and information on corresponding points of the training image and test image; a first three-dimensional coordinate calculation part which estimates a focal length and a projection matrix of a camera having photographing the respective images from the corresponding points, and calculates first three-dimensional coordinate values of points, constituting the corresponding points, in the training image; a reference Z value determination part which determines a reference Z value indicative of a depth representing a three-dimensional point from the first three-dimensional coordinate values; a second three-dimensional coordinate calculation part which calculates second three-dimensional coordinate values corresponding to a subject area of the training image using the focal length and reference Z value; and a subject area detection part which outputs two-dimensional coordinate values indicative of the area of the subject, obtained by projecting the second three-dimensional coordinate values corresponding to the subject area on the test image using the projection matrix, in the test image. |
