PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge an area (an area of a reactor current) in which single-arm control can be executed for switching only one of an upper arm and a lower arm of a step-up converter.SOLUTION: When an average value ILave of a reactor current IL is equal to or smaller than a negative threshold ILref3 and greater than a threshold ILref4 smaller than the threshold ILref3, upper-arm control is executed while increasing a carrier frequency fc in comparison with the case where the average value ILave is equal to or smaller than the threshold ILref4. When the average value ILave of the reactor current IL is equal to or greater than a threshold ILref1 and smaller than a threshold ILref2 larger than the threshold ILref1, lower-arm control is executed while increasing the carrier frequency fc in comparison with the case where the average value ILave is equal to or greater than the threshold ILref2. |
