PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which allows an operator to quickly grasp a state of the cutting device.SOLUTION: A cutting device 10 comprises: a carriage 32 capable of moving in a predetermined direction; a movement mechanism 52 for moving the carriage 32 and a cutting object relatively in a direction crossing the predetermined direction; a cutter 38 mounted on the carriage 32; a cutter movement mechanism 54 mounted on the carriage 32, and moving the cutter 38 in directions coming close to and separating from the cutting object; a light source 42 mounted on the carriage 32 and radiating light; and a control device for controlling the light source 42. The control device controls so that the light source 42 becomes a first lighting state during normal time, and so that the light source 42 becomes a second lighting state during abnormal time. |
