<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder configured to reliably separate sheets of paper from one another, and more effectively prevent the feed of the sheets of paper in piles. <P>SOLUTION: Air is horizontally blown from a paper carry-in port 33d of a conveyance path 33 toward surfaces of paper transfer belts 81, thus, even if a plurality of the recording sheets are sucked on the surfaces of the paper transfer belts 81 in an overlaid state, the recording sheets in the overlaid state are not pushed against the surfaces of the paper transfer belts 81 by a blow of air, the air infiltrates into each gap between the recording sheets in the overlaid state, then, the recording sheets are separated from one another, only the uppermost-positioned recording sheet is sucked and left on the surfaces of the paper transfer belts 81, and accordingly, the feed of the recording sheets in piles is effectively prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
