摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology for joining ceramic members each containing 2 mass% or more of boron carbide by a simple method with extremely high joint strength of 100 MPa or higher. <P>SOLUTION: Each ceramic member contains 2 mass% or more of boron carbide. A boron carbide-containing ceramic joint is configured such that the ceramic members are joined together with a joining material through a joining layer, wherein the joining material contains at least one selected from a metal group comprising copper, gold and zirconium. Alternatively, the boron carbide-containing ceramic joint is configured such that the ceramic members are joined together through a joining layer formed with titanium compound and one of a metal aluminum and an aluminum compound used as a joining material.
