The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for analyzing and remotely managing sales information on a vending machine, which can update a sales status and a stock status of product for sale through the vending machine in real time. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for analyzing and remotely managing sales information on a vending machine, which discharges a selected product among multiple products via an outlet after insertion of a money is sensed, comprises: a machine controller configuring an operation mode as either a sales mode or a standby mode based on a result of money insertion received from a mainboard disposed at the vending machine and then receiving identification information on a product from the mainboard when the configured operation mode is a sales mode; and a server receiving the identification information on the product and distinct information on the vending machine from the machine controller to update a sales status and a stock status of product for sale through the vending machine. |
