PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-aging agent derived from a natural product.SOLUTION: There is provided an anti-aging agent through improvement in a neuropsychological function which has at least one selected from the group consisting of imidazoledipeptide and methabolites thereof as an active ingredient. There is also provided an agent for improving a neuropsychological function in which the agent has at least one selected from the group consisting of imidazoledipeptide and methabolites thereof as an active ingredient. There is also provided an agent for fluctuating expression of a transporter, such as SLC23A2, which contains at least one selected from the group consisting of imidazoledipeptide and methabolites thereof, an agent for controlling concentration in blood of cytokine, such as IP-10, which contains at least one selected from the group consisting of imidazoledipeptide and methabolites thereof, an expression analysis method for detecting changing of the neuropsychological function for the better or the worse, and a kit for detecting changing of the neuropsychological function for the better or the worse.
