PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition that does not cause the precipitation of a solid content, has extremely small viscosity change and also has good storage stability.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink composition containing at least a coloring agent represented by the following formula (1), a dispersant, a modified styrene-acrylic polymer and water where the dispersant is an A-B block polymer obtained by copolymerization based on a living radical polymerization method using a mixture of an organic tellurium compound and an organic ditellurium compound or the like as a polymerization initiator.
