<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet which exhibits good sealing performance even when a certain variation inevitably occurs in dimensional accuracy of a housing and a mounting part formed in the housing. <P>SOLUTION: A grommet comprises: a housing; a lid member closing an opening of the housing; and a grommet part made of a rubbery elastic material which is attached to a recessed mounting part formed at an end of the opening, pressed to be brought into close contact with the mounting part by mounting of the lid member to the housing, and has a through-hole into which piping connecting the inside and the outside of the housing is inserted. Chamfer-like inclined surfaces are formed at both ends of the mounting part, and flange parts each having a triangular cross-section which fit in spaces extending along the through-hole formed by the inclined surface and the lid member are provided on both sides of the grommet part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
