PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified alkylene imine-based polymer suitable for a water treatment agent, a fiber treatment agent, an inorganic pigment dispersion agent, a builder for detergent, a detergent composition or the like and exhibiting high detergency when used as the builder for detergent together with an active agent, and to provide a production method and an application of the modified alkylene imine-based polymer.SOLUTION: The modified alkylene-imine-based polymer having an alkylene imine structure unit is provided that has structure in which an epoxy compound having unsaturated carboxylic acid compound such as acrylic acid or maleic acid and a hydrophobic group is added to a NH group in a polyalkylene imine chain in the polymer. |
