A seat for a mesh chair comprises: a mesh fabric part which is formed with mesh fabric, to an edge of which a horizontal pole for fixation is attached, and which is used as a seat support material; an upper seat frame which includes a horizontal pole insertion groove at a bottom portion to receive the horizontal pole at the edge of the mesh fabric part, and an elastic sponge arranged on a frontal upper portion, and on which the mesh fabric part is installed and fixated by the horizontal pole insertion groove; a lower seat frame which is arranged below the upper seat frame and includes a protruding rib on an upper surface installed on an outer side out of the horizontal pole insertion groove and formed to protrude upwardly, multiple protruding pins installed on a free end portion of the protruding rib at certain intervals, and a sliding rail on a lower surface; a sliding plate part on which the sliding rail of the lower seat frame is installed, and which fixes the lower seat frame to be able to moved and arranged at a desired position. Since the mesh fabric is used as the seat support material, the seat for the mesh chair can be pleasantly used in the summer. In addition, the protruding rib holding the mesh fabric is coupled to the mesh fabric in a protruding state, so the mesh fabric keeps tight and provides convenience of use. The protruding pins formed at constant intervals on the free end portion of the rib secure the mesh fabric at a fixed position, thereby preventing the mesh fabric from releasing and immobilizing the mesh fabric on the seat tightly. Moreover, the sliding plate part made of synthetic resin on the bottom of the seat allows a user to adjust the length of the seat back and forth, thereby improving convenience of use. |
