FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to an absorbent sanitary tower, comprising a number of printed patterns of images visible on the body-facing surface. The pattern location and design are chosen carefully in accordance with the present invention to ensure a synergetic masking effect providing a visual masking of body fluids or stains on the periphery of the product. This passive stain masking is partially ensured by using the printed patterns that are asymmetrically located around long and cross axial lines of the product. The asymmetrical location of the patterns improves body fluid colour mixing with a pattern colour and draws user's attention away from the stain region. The printed patterns are also located on the periphery of the product or nearby, and at least partially extend onto a part of the body-facing surface covering an absorbent inner part that additionally improves product's ability to mask stains passively.EFFECT: higher absorption.21 cl, 9 dwg
