PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery device which can enhance stability of flame of a combustion part for burning extra fuel gas discharged from the upper end portion of a fuel battery stack.SOLUTION: A fuel battery stack comprises plural fuel battery cells which are arranged in a horizontal direction. The fuel battery cell 10 has a cell support body 13 extending in the up-and-down direction. The cell support body 13 has, at the upper end portion thereof, plural openings 12a which are placed face up to an off-gas combustion part 35 and jet extra reforming gas therefrom. The fuel battery stack has a blocking member 40 which is disposed between the upper end portions of the adjacent cell support bodies 13 and blocks the gap between the upper end portions. The blocking member 40 is configured to contain a pair of slope plates 41, 42 which are closer to each other as shifting upwards, and atomizers 47, 48 are formed in the respective slope plates 41, 42. The atomizers 47, 48 jet the extra oxidant gas obliquely upwards to the off-gas combustion part 35 located above the upper end portions of the adjacent cell support bodies 13. |
