PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of a clearance between an edge of a seal band and a portion which straddles an internal face of a cylinder main body in an initial attachment state, and to prevent the generation of local eccentric wear, in a piston seal which is attached to a piston of a rodless cylinder.SOLUTION: A piston seal for a rodless cylinder comprises: an external peripheral lip 11 and an internal peripheral lip 12; and a seal band support protrusion 13 which is protrusively formed at an external peripheral face of the external peripheral lip 11, and sealed to an internal face of a cylinder main body, and to an internal face of a seal band arranged at the inside of a slit of the cylinder main body while straddling the internal faces. A rib 16 is formed which fills a groove 15 between the external peripheral lip 11 and the internal peripheral lip 12 in a position at an internal peripheral side of the seal band support protrusion 13, and a wall thickness reduction hole 17 positioned on an internal peripheral side of the seal band support protrusion 13 is formed at the external peripheral lip 11. |
