An exercise assist device for an animal and an animal activity information monitoring system are disclosed. An exercise assist device for an animal which is mounted on an animal and assists in managing the exercise of the animal comprises: a sensing unit which measures movement of the animal; a control unit which analyzes the movement to acquire the current activity amount of the animal; a memory which stores the targeted activity amount of the animal; and a speaker which outputs a preset output sound according to a control of the control unit, wherein the output sound is a sound learned as a conditioned reflex for the animal by being repeatedly output through the speaker when the animal performs physical activity and when increasing an activity amount, the control unit controls the output sound to be output through the speaker when the current activity amount is short as compared with the aimed activity amount as the analysis result for each designated time point, the output sound acts as a stimulation condition for the animal, and thus the animal is allowed to perform physical activity of an increasing amount by the stimulation condition. |
