The utility model relates to a process of making jam but more particularly to a process of making Citron Lemon (Citrus medica) Jam. The Citron Lemon Jam can be obtained by following the steps of: gathering citron lemon fruits of good quality; washing and peeling the skin of the washed fruits; slicing and deseeding the pulp of the peeled fruits; boiling 250 grams of sugar and 750 ml of water to form a thin syrup; soaking the fruit pulp in the thin syrup for 8 to 10 hours; draining the thin syrup from step e and set aside the soaked pulp; measuring and mixing the soaked pulp, sugar, and water with a 1:1:1 ratio; cooking the mixture until it reaches a thick syrup consistency; skimming off scums from the thick syrup mixture; and pouring the mixture in a sterilized jar. |
