A medical system including a plurality of medical devices, at least one client terminal device, and a server device. The server device comprises: a storage unit wherein information is stored that includes device names, locations, and expected usage dates and times for the plurality of medical devices; a detection unit that detects malfunctions in the medical devices; and a determination unit that determines replacement medical devices that could be replacement devices for malfunctioning medical devices, on the basis of the information stored in the storage unit. The server device performs actions such as: sending information including the device name and location of a malfunctioning medical device, to at least one client terminal device; and sending information including the device name, location, and usable date and time of a replacement medical device, to at least one client terminal device. |
