The present invention relates to a lens assembly apparatus for a camera, and more specifically, to an apparatus for assembling a lens in a body tube for a camera. The lens assembly apparatus for a camera of the present invention includes: a table where the body tube is mounted on an upper part thereof; a pickup part where the lens is attached to and detached from a lower part thereof; a transportation part for transporting the pickup part; a pneumatic part which is connected to the pickup part, and generates air pressure for the lens to be attached to/detached from the pickup part; and a control part for controlling the transportation part and the pneumatic part. The control part adsorbs the lens to the pickup part by generating air absorption pressure by the pneumatic part. Then the lens is separated from the pickup part by air exhaust pressure under the state that the lens is arranged in the body tube, and then is assembled to the body tube. |
