FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: friction variable-speed drive contains a support contour, drive and driven shafts, rod being support for the driven gear link. Stepless change of the kinematic characteristics of the gear is ensured by the controlled rolling contact without sliding of the mate links, having spherical shape of the work surface. The gear ratio changes by rotation of the supporting contour and/or by change of the inclination angle of the driven shaft in relation to the drive shaft.EFFECT: stepless versatile change of the movement kinematic characteristics.1 dwg
