<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adverse influence due to erroneous detection of a light source when controlling exposure utilizing a color of an object. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: imaging means for imaging an object and generating image data; determination means for determining a light source color and luminance of the object on the basis of the image data; first detection means for detecting an area including the object of a specific color in the image data on the basis of the light source color determined by the determination means; second detection means for detecting the area including the object of the specific color in the image data on the basis of the light source color predetermined irrespective of determination by the determination means; and control means for controlling exposure of the imaging means on the basis of a detection result of the first detection means and a detection result of the second detection means. The control means increases weighting of the detection result of the second detection means to control the exposure as the possibility that the predetermined light source color is the light source color of the object is higher on the basis of the luminance of the object determined by the determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
