PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball allowing a golfer with not only a middle head speed but also a low head speed to exert an excellent flight performance and further, combinedly having a favorable striking feeling and excellent durability against repeated strokes.SOLUTION: The multi-piece solid golf ball including a core 1, an intermediate layer 2, and a cover 3 is so configured that surface hardness of a ball and surface hardness of the intermediate layer satisfy a specific relationship, and respective measured initial speeds of a core 1, a spherical body (an intermediate layer covering spherical body) configured by forming an envelop layer and the intermediate layer 2 around the core 1, and a ball satisfies a specific relationship. |
