METHOD AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL FOR CHANGING A CONFIGURATION OF A SCREEN DISPLAYING FUNCTION ITEMS

A function for configuring a screen reflecting user preference is implemented when formlets are displayed to indicate function items of a mobile communication terminal. The size, position and shape of a formlet on which an indicator is positioned are changed by user settings in a state in which multiple formlets are displayed, thereby increasing accessibility to a formlet of high preference to a user and also increasing display visibility.

1. A non-transitory computer readable medium having recorded therein a program executable by a mobile device to perform a method for changing a visual configuration of a screen, the method comprising:
presenting a first screen including a plurality of visual display elements that are associated with a plurality of applications and are predesignated to be presented on the first screen, one of the plurality of visual display elements being presented in a first size; based on a first input on the one of the plurality of visual display elements, entering an edit mode by displaying an option for changing an appearance of the one of the plurality of visual display elements; based on a second input on the option displayed in the edit mode, changing the appearance of the one of the plurality of visual display elements by presenting the one of the plurality of visual display elements in a second size; and based on exiting the edit mode, presenting a second screen including the one of the plurality of visual display elements presented in the second size and at least another of the plurality of visual display elements that maintains a same size from the first screen to the second screen, the second screen allowing for entering the edit mode.
