PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized bed gasification apparatus that permits formation of a large amount of a gasified gas by gasifying an organic raw material at a high gasification ratio. SOLUTION: In a method comprising burning char, formed by gasification of the organic raw material, and a fluid medium 11 in a fluidized bed combustion furnace 1 to heat the fluid medium 11, separating the fluid medium 11 from the fluidized bed combustion furnace 1 by a separator 8, introducing it into a fluidized bed gasification furnace 2, feeding an organic raw material M to a fluidized bed 16 of the fluidized bed gasification furnace 2, gasifying it, taking out a gasified gas 35, and circulating char formed by gasification and a part of the fluid medium 11 to the fluidized bed combustion furnace 1, the fluidized bed gasification furnace 2 is constituted of a first chamber 31 and a second chamber 32 so that the organic raw material M is fed to the first chamber 31, that the organic raw material, from which moisture is evaporated and removed in the first chamber 31, is introduced into the inside of the fluidized bed 16 of the second chamber 32, and that the organic raw material M is gasified while decomposing tar by heating it by mixing it with the fluidized medium 11 in the second chamber 32.
